The dawn of a new day
The sun has barely risen
Dew covered grass
The clouds above pass
The smell of fresh air amidst
Surrounded by hills in the
dis-tance
And so it begins
Sleeves rolled up and off we go
To dig for vegetables below
Sifting through the dirt we
search
In the distance, a bird is
perched
Watching us dig, and pluck, and
plow
Allow me to paint this picture
aloud
A picture of harvesters at work
Potatoes, pumpkins, and so many
greens
An undeniably colorful scene
We laugh, converse, and continue
steady
Ready for adventures of a farm
fall
Accompanied by the melodies of a birds call
Seconds, and minutes, then hours
pass
The sand runs out of the hourglass
We bid our farewells until next
week
These are our farm stories
Well just a sneak peek
